Jello Marshmallow Jigglers

And now for something totally easy.

If you're looking for a simple, fun, and delicious treat that kids can make, Jello Marshmallow Jigglers are the perfect choice! With just two ingredients—Jello mix and marshmallows—you can create colorful, wobbly, and fluffy treats that are as fun to eat as they are to make.

By combining Jello with melted marshmallows, you get a soft, bouncy treat with a unique, foamy texture on top and a firmer, jiggly layer on the bottom. These treats are perfect for parties, playdates, or just a fun kitchen activity with the kids.

Jello Marshmallow Jigglers

Why kids will love these:

  • Super easy – No fancy equipment needed, just a bowl and a spoon!

  • Colorful and fun – Choose any Jello flavor for bright, vibrant treats.

  • Hands-on fun – Kids love watching the marshmallow layer form and cutting out fun shapes.

Fun Variations:

  • Try adding another flavour of jello on top of the already set jello for a layered effect.

  • Use fruit-flavored marshmallows for extra taste.

  • Add sprinkles or edible glitter for a fun touch.

The recipe

Jello Marshmallow Jigglers

Ingredients

  • 1 small box of flavored Jello (any flavor you love!)

  • 1 cup of boiling water

  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows (or about 10 regular-sized marshmallows) your ingredients here using the bulleted list style

Directions

  1. Dissolve the Jello – In a heat-safe bowl, I like to use a liquid measuring cup. Mix the Jello powder with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

  2. Add Marshmallows – Stir in the marshmallows and keep mixing until they start to melt. If they don’t fully melt, microwave the mixture for about 20 seconds and stir again. See above for picture.

  3. Pour and Set – Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8-inch dish or a silicone mold for fun shapes. As it cools, the marshmallow layer will rise to the top, creating a fun two-layer effect.

  4. Chill – Refrigerate for at least an hour or until firm.

  5. Cut and Enjoy – Use cookie cutters or a knife to cut into fun shapes and enjoy your bouncy, marshmallowy treat!

Store in the fridge until ready to eat. Keeps for two weeks.
